Say It Isn’t So, Joe
Joe Malone was quick to correct Ray Kasperowicz during the 10th Congressional debate of July 26. Kasperowicz said he heard Malone say he would support Elena Kagan for the Supreme Court on a WRKO show. Malone said Kasperowicz was wrong. Below is a transcript of their exchange during Monday’s debate.
Kasperowicz: Joe I heard you on a radio show and they asked you a question and didn’t mesh but gave an insight…If you were a Senator would you vote for Elena Kagen? You said Yes, you would.
Malone: No, no, no I said I will wait and hear what the process brings about in terms of evidence and terms of her background.
Kasperowicz: Did I hear wrong?
Malone: I think you may have heard wrong.
However, on the Howie Carr show with Avi Nelson:
Malone said: I would probably say okay, he (Obama) got elected it is his right to have her (Kagan) and I think, although I’m not 100%, I would probably vote for her.”

Ray Kasperowicz, the only veteran in the race, would not support Elena Kagen for the Supreme Court due to her decisions and policy regarding the military while Dean at Harvard University. Ray Kasperowicz has difficulty with institutions like Harvard receiving over half a billion dollars in federal funding, while not officially recognizing the ROTC on campus.
Vote for Ray Kasperowicz....
because we don’t need any more professional politicians,
we just need good people.
